TMS Archive needs your help!

Richard has been inundated with printed material for the archive. He needs some time to collate everything so please no more for the moment! A refined list of required material will be published here shortly.

We are also putting together TMS photographic archive so can members look for old photographs (conferences, field-trips, TMS officers) or any image associated with TMS activities, and send them to the Archivist.

Our archivist, Richard Hodgkinson, has processed the first batch of boxes of old minutes, correspondence and printed material. During this process, significant gaps, particularly from the early years of the Society’s history have been identified. We ask all members and past Officers of the Society: please search your attics, garages, bottom drawers and top shelves: we need your help to try and fill in the following gaps:

• AGM minutes prior to 1994
• Committee minutes prior to 1984
• Any material on Group Meetings (abstracts, minutes, reports), particularly prior to 1986
• Newsletters 1-14
• Correspondence of any kind
