News from the Foraminifera Group Foraminifera and Nannofossil Groups Joint Annual Meeting 2012 21-22 June 2012, Edinburgh, Scotland. Registration is now open for the annual TMS Foram/Nannofossil groups joint meeting, which will be held at the University of Edinburgh’s Pollock Halls in Scotland on 21 – 22 June 2012. Satellite workshop: North-East Atlantic benthic foraminifers: a new taxonomy for the 21st century 19-20 June 2012, St Andrews, Scotland This two-day workshop will be held the 19th and 20th of June 2012 at the University of St Andrews, Scotland. The aim is to discuss the taxonomy of benthic foraminifers from the North-East Atlantic in the light of molecular phylogenetics and ecology.
