DESCRIPTION:We are thrilled to welcome you to Bengaluru (India) for the 15th International Conference on Palaeoceanography (ICP15) . We are looking forward to hearing about your latest research on past ocean\, climate and Earth System processes over a range of timescales. Both proxy- and modelling-based approaches are welcome. The aim of the conference is to gain a better understanding of how our oceans and climate have evolved in the past\, what are the drivers of those changes and their relevance to future changes\, how those drivers of change have operated\, interacted and influenced the past climate and how novel approaches are being developed and applied to unravel process-based knowledge to contribute to the future climate predictions. We welcome world experts and newcomers in the field of Palaeoceanography. For the newcomers\, this is a unique conference that occurs every 3-4 years and voted by the members of the community to become a host. You will have an opportunity to showcase your science and select the next ICP host during the conference. This conference provides an opportunity to present and debate ground-breaking new observations while creating a friendly environment for fostering discussions of pressing challenges and new scientific discoveries.

DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the 12th International Cretaceous Symposium\, which will take place from 31 August to 5 September 2025 in Hannover\, Germany. This prestigious event\, jointly organized by Leibniz Universität Hannover (LUH) and the Federal Institute for Geosciences and Natural Resources (BGR)\, will provide a unique platform for leading scientists and professionals to present and discuss the latest findings and developments in the field of Cretaceous research. \n\n\n\nThe symposium will be held in the historic Welfenschloss\, the main building of the LUH\, and offers space for up to 350 participants. In addition to exciting lectures and poster presentations in two large lecture halls\, there will also be a poster exhibition in the atrium of the main building. In addition\, field excursions will be offered to important Cretaceous sites in the vicinity of Hannover\, which is known as the “home of the German Cretaceous”. \n\n\n\nWe cordially invite all interested researchers\, professionals and students to join us at this inspiring event and explore together the latest advances in Cretaceous research.
