The INA20 Meeting is organized every two years by the International Nannoplankton Association. These conferences have been key in developing knowledge of extinct and extant nannoplankton, they have helped numerous young scientists start their careers, and they have made nannofossil study more rewarding.
The INA was established in 1977 in order to gather and enhance communication between the worldwide academic and industrial scientists working on calcareous nannofossils and living coccolithophores.
The event will include keynote lectures, workshops, art & outreach activities, and field trips to Buenos Aires city and the Neuquén Basin.
The 2027 edition of the INA meeting has a special significance, because we will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of the association.
